John Patrick McCool passed away on Saturday February 20, 2010 at Epoch Nursing Home in Melrose after a lengthy period of declining health. He was 83 years of age. John was the husband of the late Mary (Gregor) McCool. He was a retired Public Works employee for the City of Salem, MA. John was the son of the late Thomas & Alfreda McCool. He was the father of Mary Overy of Billerica and Jacklyn Smith of Merrimac,MA. He was also the brother of Theresa Toleos of FL, Florence Rossitty of Norwell,MA Peggy Tolbot of Freedom,NH., Reida LaPoint of Zephyhill,FL., and the late Irene Blundell, Edward McCool & Thomas McCool. Also survived by several grandchildren, neices and nephews. At the request of the deceased no funeral services were planned.
