Daniel J. Falasca a longtime resident of Malden passed away at his home after a long illness on Saturday evening February 27, 2010, he was 83 years of age. He is survived by his loving wife Lorna (Ludin) Falasca. Mr. Falasca was raised and educated in Medford, MA . He was a Veteran of World War II, serving in the US Navy. For many years he worked as a skilled fenceman, working and installing fencing for various fence companys. He was a member of the Malden VFW and DAV. He was the son of the late Frank and Rose Falasca. He was the father of John of Florida, Richard of Malden and Mary Anne DiModica of Haverhill. Brother of Frankie and Gene Falasca and Pauline Parent and Rosemary Hawkin. He also leaves 5 grandchildren Lisa, Nicole, Michael, Emily, and Evan.
Visitation will be held at the Norton Funeral Home 287 Main St Malden SQ on Wed. March 3 between the hours of 3pm and 7pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Cremation will follow. The family asks that you make donations in Daniel's memory to Hallmark health Hopice  178 Savin St Malden,MA 02148. In lieu of flowers.
