Bernice F. (McGaffigan) 'Bernie' O'Keefe passed away Monday November 23 after a period of declining health at her residence at Sunrise Senior Assited Living in Lynnfield, MA .The beloved wife of 50 years of the late Edward T. O'Keefe . She was the loving mother of three children Paula J. Hardy and her husband Michael of Ipswich, Lori A. O'Keefe of Framingham and Edward T. O'Keefe III and his wife Sara of Cohasset. She was the sister of Ralph 'Mac' McGaffigan of Medford, Jean Morelli of Chelmsford and the late Arlene 'Bubba' Kiernan. She leaves one grandchild Edward 'Tedy' P. O'Keefe . Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. O'Keefe was a lifelong resident of Malden . A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday November 27 at 9AM in the Immaculate Conception Church 600 Pleasant St. Malden with interment to follow at Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Wednesday Nov. 25 from 4pm until 8pm. In lieu of flowers donations in Bernie's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
