Roy E. Strong 63 years old, was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Ells) Strong. He died suddenly Monday December 21st at South Shore Hospital after being stricken with a heart attack that morning at home. Born raised and educated in North Quincy, he was a longtime resident of Weymouth. He recently retired from a long career as a Mechanic for Polaroid Corp. He was the loving father of Stacey (Strong) Rieckenhoff and her husband Germàn and Thomas Strong and his wife Tricia Brother of Lee Schelin of Sturbridge, MA ., Tina Spade of Chittenango, NY., Henry Strong of New Zealand and the late Robert Strong. Also survived by his grandchildren Taylor & Caitlin Strong and Gremàn Alejandro (Alex), Sebastiàn  & Sophia Rieckehoff. Visiting hours will be held at the C.C.Shepard Funeral Home 134 Pleasant Street South Weymouth, MA (directions www.ccshepherd.com) on Sunday December 27 from 3 - 8 pm. Relatives and friends invited.
