Mary (O"Donnell) Ellis a longftime Malden resident passed away on Sunday December 27, after a long period of declining health. She was 89 years of age. She was the wife of the late John E. Ellis. She was the loving mother of Agnes Smiledge & her husband Carl of NH, John Ellis Jr. & his wife Kathleen of Melrose, Joseph Ellis & his wife Marie of Malden, Stephen Ellis of Malden, Richard Ellis & his wife Deborah of Malden, Ruth Garrity & her husband Donald of Lynnfield, Brian Ellis & his wife Kimberly of Hampton,NH and the late Michael Ellis. She also leaves many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Funeral for Mary will be celebrated on Wednesday December 30 at 10AM in the Sacred Hearts Church (next door to Funeral Home ) relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Mass at the Norton Funeral Home. Interment immediatly following the Funeral Mass in the family lot at Cambridge Cemetery, Cambridge, MA.
