Charles 'Charlie' L. "Cadjo' a lifelong Malden resident passed away unexpectedly on Monday December 28 at his home in Malden at the age of 79. Born raised and educated in Malden. Charlie was the husband of the late Ann (Connelley) He leaves three children a son Timothy Blakeley of Magnolia,MA and two daughters Patricia & Shannon Blakeley both of Gloucester,MA. Grandfather of Jack, Addy and Lily. Also survived by his longtime companion Barbara Dellasandro. Charlie was a Korean War Veteran serving with the US Army from 1955 - 1957. Following his service to his country He began a long career as a Massachusetts Court Officer and Administrator at the Malden District Court. Upon his retirement Charlie remained an active Malden resident, he was a longtime Member of the Malden Irish American Club. and a lifelong Parishinor of Sacred Hearts Parish, Malden. A Funeral will be held from the Norton Funeral Home on Monday January 4 a 9am with a Funeral Mass celebrated at Sacred Hearts Church (next door to Church) at 10AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours for Charley will be held at the Funeral Home on Sunday Jan. 3 from 2pm to 5pm. Cremation to follow Funeral Mass. Please omit flowers.
